LG's New Scarlet LH70 Launches In Lebanon

Published Aug 17, 2009
LG Electronics, a major player in the global flat panel display market and audio-video market, announced the launch of its new Scarlet (LH70), a full HD LCD TV that combines the highest level of slim sophistication and sleek refinement with incredible picture quality.

The New Scarlet (LH70) is distinctive thanks to its superior picture and sound quality with a sleek and eye catching silhouette with rounded curves and scarlet accents.

LG reinforced its position as a leader in the slim TV industry by developing thinner power circuits and supply units.

In addition, LG relocated the new Scarlet (LH70)'s tuner and components from behind the screen to below it, further reducing the thickness to a mere 1.56 inch (39.7 mm), making the LH70 an incredibly slim all in one Full HD LCD TV.

The TV's scarlet frame and contoured edges are gentle, like the lining of a silk dress. Within this outline, the LH70 incorporates an enticing, glossy silhouette and unique scarlet red accents.

The soft, circular, transparent power button, positioned in the center of the TV's lower bezel, is more refined on the LH70.

The new color characteristics not only complement the design, but also give the TV greater emotional appeal.

'The LH70 is a remarkable combination of design, versatility and digital features. It is stylish enough to fit in any living room as an exceptional home décor element, and can easily be connected to a wide variety of devices. It does all of this while staying within reach for most buyers,' said Mr. Maan Abou Zaki, TV Marketing Manager in LG Electronics, Beirut Office.

The LG new Scarlet (LH70) is not just a beauty to behold. Rather, it fully embodies LG's concept of Advanced Technology Beautifully Hidden.

Many combined advanced features ensure great picture quality for any type of programming.

Moreover, LG fully understands that TVs are no longer limited to how they look, sound and perform, but how they affect the environment.

That is why the LH70 includes Smart Energy Saving Plus, a technology that reduces power consumption by precisely controlling the TV's backlight.

This can lower power use by up to 75% compared to other comparably sized TVs, while also reducing eyestrain during extended viewing.

In addition as part of TV that can fit your life, LG New Scarlet (LH70) include Bluetooth Tech where you can immediately see pictures taken with any mobile camera or MP3 music on new Scarlet (LH70) through Bluetooth.

Also this technology support Bluetooth Headset or Headphone if you want to listen to the TV with disturbing people around you while connected wireless and 10 meters away from TV.

Along with this state of art LCD TV, LG is launching a New Home Theatre Venus (HT964TZ) with superb sound performance. The LG Venus (HT964TZ) is the first home theatre system to incorporate seven distinct sound modes including 'Night Mode' and 'Game Equalizer'. These settings, available through the LG Sound Gallery, offer the right sound for the right time.

'In creating the LG HT964TZ, we focused on delivering ideal sound quality for all occasions. We wanted customers to be fully immersed in their music, movies and other forms of entertainment content. When listening to music, they should feel as if they are actually in the concert hall and when watching movies the enhanced sound effects should give viewers the impression they are actually there. With the HT964TZ, we are bringing the full cinema experience into the living room,' said Mr. Elie Chehade, General Manager of LG Electronics, Beirut Office.

The LG Venus (HT964TZ) is not only pleasing to the ears, but also to the eyes. It is a work of art in the living room boasting a sleek and minimal look that fits perfectly into its environment.

LG's exclusive wine glass shaped speakers glow in a gradient of dark red, adding an emotional touch to any décor and sharp corners have been rounded and smoothed on the central oval speaker providing needed depth to carry sound over a broader area.

LG gave the back of this speaker a soft curve to minimize sound distortion, thus providing richer resonance. The system's premium, high gloss, black façade lends an air of luxury to the HT964TZ. These elements complement the design of most any living room.

The HT964TZ's rich sound and sophisticated styling are matched only by its abundance of features.

LG's beautifully sophisticated New Scarlet (LH70) full HD LCD TV and LG Venus (HT964TZ) home theatre will be ready to adorn the Lebanese living rooms starting July 2009.
