Injazat Service Managers Complete Training Program And Examination For ‘ITIL V3 Expert’ Certification

Published Jul 17, 2011

Injazat Data Systems announced that it has recently concluded a successful comprehensive training program to upgrade its certified ITIL v2 Service Managers to ITIL v3 Expert status. The program covering the revised ITIL lifecycle approach for Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations, and Continual Service Improvement was attended by 20 candidates.

The Injazat Institute (Ti2), a professional development initiative launched by Injazat Data Systems, managed the delivery of the program to the candidates, who had previously undertaken the ITIL v2 Service Managers program and gained the ITIL red badge. The v2 to v3 bridging program required intensive training on the new ITIL processes and was followed by a certification exam. The program, developed with the support of Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), achieved a 100 per cent success rate. Injazat now has one of the highest numbers of ITIL Experts in the Middle East, a very important milestone that will further strengthen its reputation as the premier end-to-end enterprise IT solutions provider in the region.

“The ITIL v3 Expert accreditation is a much sought-after qualification in the global IT services industry. Injazat has made considerable investments in ITIL Service Management over the last few years as part of a long-term strategy to constantly add value to its services and align the company to global best practices. ITIL v2 is all about process and the goal is improving IT efficiency and effectiveness, while ITIL v3 is recognized as a “more mature” service management model with a goal of economic optimization and business alignment of IT services to add greater value,” said Adam Ali, ITIL Service Management Sponsor

Injazat is also proud that out of the 20 candidates, there were 4 Emirati ladies who took part in the program and successfully gained the ITIL v3 Expert certification. The participation of the Emirati Nationals was in line with Injazat’s strategy to support the UAE Government’s Emiratisation program and provide professional development opportunities to the local workforce in line with Abu Dhabi 2030.

“We are delighted that 4 Emirati ladies took part in this successful program and we want to celebrate their achievement as another important breakthrough in our ongoing efforts to support the UAE’s Emiratisation program. I would like to reaffirm our commitment to provide exciting career growth opportunities to all UAE Nationals at Injazat through their Career Development Plans (CDPs), which are focused on current and future job roles and the subsequent competencies required. These ladies represent Injazat’s future and are themselves actively engaged in supporting their clients in various Service Delivery roles to ensure that Injazat offers the highest level of services,” said Gary Hazel, Head of Training at The Injazat Institute
