9 Kilos Of Gold To Be Won In Du’s ‘SMS Gold Challenge’

Bringing fun and excitement this season, du will launch on the 17th of August 2009 the SMS Gold Challenge, an interactive SMS based contest that gives du mobile subscribers fabulous opportunities to win gold.
Simply by registering and answering trivia questions by SMS, participants will collect points and increase their chances to win 50 grams of gold daily, 100 grams of gold weekly and the 1kg grand prizes of gold offered monthly.
The contest will run for twelve weeks with 9kg’s of gold to be won.

Step by Step guide on how to start the treasure hunt:
• SMS ‘gold’ to 1000 from a du mobile and get 10 points as a starter
• A participant can win points with every answe sent.
Answers will fetch the following points:-
o 20 points for any correct answer
o 10 points for any wrong or invalid answer
o 50 points for sending any profile information (i.e. name, age)
• Charges of AED2 per SMS sent

1. Grand monthly prizes
• 1 Kg of gold every month for 3 months
• Each point gives one entry to the monthly draw
Please note: Only participants with more than 200 points in a month are eligible for this draw.
2. Weekly prizes
• Top scorer of the week wins 100 gms of gold
• Customers get the chance to win 25 gms of gold twice a week with the instant win offer
3. Daily prizes
• Each point gives an entry to the daily draw
