Optimus Launches WAFA - Loyalty Program For Channel Partners

Published Sep 11, 2011

Optimus Technology and Telecommunications, a leading regional Value Added Distributor (VAD) of IT and telecommunications products, announced the launch of its new loyalty program for channel partners called WAFA, which enables partners to earn points for their transactions with Optimus. Through this program, channel partners will be able to earn and redeem the accumulated points for conducting business with Optimus.

“Optimus is pleased to launch WAFA, which is our initiative to acknowledge our performing channel partners and value their growing business with us. WAFA is a tiered Loyalty program launched to reward our loyal partners by ensuring that the more they spend with us the more they earn back. With this new program our objective is to strengthen our relationship with our existing channel partners as well as cater to new partners. Optimus recognizes their value to our business and wants to reward them for their ongoing commitment,” says Ms. Meera Kaul, Managing Director, Optimus Technology & Telecommunications.

WAFA, Optimus’ tiered Loyalty Program, enables partners to earn loyalty points for their continuous, consistent business with Optimus. From completion of on-boarding process to positive credit history to sales, the loyalty program is categorized into loyalty levels of BLATIN, DAHAB and FIDA. All new partners enter the WAFA program at the FIDA Level and, through continuous business, graduate to DAHAB and BLATIN depending on their sales volumes with Optimus in the year. If an Optimus partner crosses its targeted revenue criteria in a fiscal year, the partner will automatically be upgraded to the next category level.

Optimus’ channel partners will be able to redeem their WAFA points against options such as vendor led paid training programs, air travel ticket to attend Optimus training programs, purchasing Optimus professional services, payment for next sales transaction, credit notes to be used against accounts payable and participation in various Optimus-approved marketing activities.

Optimus is a multinational VAD serving solution integrators, solution providers and the value-added partner community. The company offers its channel partners across the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan a single window solution for a wide spectrum of products catering to their entire technology and telecom needs. Optimus offers its channel partners a wide range of value added services and support with local stocking options.

Optimus has grown significantly over the last three years. The company has invested in channel development programs and initiatives that has resulted in stronger sales and market share for its vendor partners. The distributor recently won the coveted Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2011 for the ‘Best Networking Value Added Distributor’ category and the Reseller Middle East Partner Excellence Awards 2011 for the ‘Value Added Distributor of the year’ category for its value-added services, channel growth initiatives, training programs, support services and strong commitment to its vendors. The WAFA customer loyalty program is the latest initiative from Optimus to ensure that channel partners are rewarded for their performance and commitment to the company and the vendors that Optimus represents.
