du Kicks-Off A New Partnership With The Iconic Manchester United

In an exciting new development for UAE football lovers, du today announced an exclusive UAE partnership with the renowned Manchester United Football Club. The announcement was made at a ceremony held during GITEX, and was attended by legendary English striker Andy Cole (Andrew Cole) the second-highest goal scorer in Premier League history in the presence of du CEO Osman Sultan and Farid Faraidooni, Chief Commercial Officer, du, and others.
The two-year contract with the 19-time title winning team brings du customers even closer to the internationally-popular Manchester United (MU) Football Club, which is reported to have over 300 million followers, of which 56 million are in the Middle East. Manchester United supporters are rife among the Emirati population, and this newly-forged deal offers football-loving du customers the opportunity to access exclusively-assigned content, allowing them to closely follow their favourite squad throughout the year.
Announcing the deal, Commercial Director Richard Arnold said, “The partnership with Du further extends our coverage to our 56 million fans in the Middle East even further and we’re delighted to have found a partner that can give our supporters in the country a premier service of updates, exclusives and action.”
