Almasa Celebrates A Successful GITEX 2011 With A Gala For 325 Of Their Key Resellers, Vendors And Consumers

This GITEX 2011, Almasa IT Distribution, along with new independent organization: Almasa Value Distribution hosted an exclusive gala dinner for 325 of their key resellers, vendors and customers. Taking place at the Grand Hyatt, Dubai the evening’s highlights included a key note speech from Almasa’s Executive Chairman, Mr. Mehdi Amjad and light entertainment from illusionist Gaston Quieto and salsa dancers.

Thanking those in attendance, Amjad noted, “As a team, we have continued to build a strong platform for the future, leveraging from the IT industry’s continuous growth across the region, as well as acting upon the positive development opportunities presented by our vendors and channel partners. On-going developments have been reflected in our last quarter performance – Almasa IT Distribution grew in sales value by 36%, compared to the same period last year”.

To support Almasa’s strategy of substantially increasing their level of investment in the area of Value Distribution, Amjad presented the company’s new independent organization: Almasa Value Distribution – which, headed by Roger El Tawil, will deliver trusted solutions and services to resellers keen to address regional networking, communications and security challenges across the region.
