RIM Offers Customers Free Apps Following Service Disruption

Research In Motion (RIM) has announced it will offer free premium apps worth more than $100, in a bid to appease its customers following BlackBerry service disruption last week, Reuters has reported. The complete selection of premium apps will become available to download at BlackBerry App World for four weeks starting tomorrow, RIM said. Additionally, enterprise customers will be offered one month of free technical support, it added.
