Under The Patronage Of H.E. The Minister Of Telecommunications And Information Technology Of Egypt The FTTH Council MENA Holds Its Third Edition Of Its 2011 Annual Conference

The FTTH Council Middle East and North Africa is pleased to announce that His Excellency, Dr. Mohamed Salem, Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology of Egypt has granted his Patronage to the third edition of the FTTH Middle East and North Africa Conference, and is likely to give the opening speech of the event. The conference is also supported by keynote speaker Dr. Amr Badawi, National Telecom Regulator Authority (NTRA).

For the third year, the FTTH Council MENA will continue inspiring delegates with a high-quality conference program under the theme “FTTH, Leading the new generation” which offer a strong focus on the Middle East and North Africa, with a large number of speakers, success stories and data not only from the MENA region but from different regions of the world such as Europe, North America and Asia. In addition, this new edition will highlight the benefits of the FTTH deployment for operators, governments and consumers through specific sessions on regulatory issues, economic considerations and business case. In the exposition area, industry leaders will showcase the latest FTTH technologies and solutions.

The two days event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, the most vibrant cities of Egypt, on 30 November and 1 December, 2011 and will be the worthy successor of the first edition in Amman, Jordan in 2009 and the second one in Beirut in 2010 which attracted 300 high-level delegates from all over the world.
