R&M Completes Its Annual Qualified Partner Program For Channel Partners In The Region

Published Aug 24, 2009
Reichle & De-Massari, the Swiss structured cabling specialist (R&M www.rdm.com) has just completed a series of Qualified Partner Program (QPP) training workshops for its channel partners in the Middle East.

The 3-day workshops, which took place in the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt and Jordan, were conducted by R&M MEA's new Technical Director, Andrew Sedman, who brings vast experience in the telecommunications cabling sector with an extensive background in supervision, project management and consultancy in the field of structured cabling.

The QPP training workshops, held annually in the region since 2004 for the channel partners, underscore R&M's commitment to ensuring total customer satisfaction and quality assurance.

R&M continuously invests in its partners through expert technical training with certification that covers installation, planning, distribution, maintenance and sales.

The necessary installation knowledge presented in the training session ensures that certified installers are experts in copper and fiber optic installations.

During the 3-day session, the installers subject the installations to an exemplary quality control. This results in long term quality for which R&M assumes a 20-year warranty.

R&M has also developed training for IT specialists working at the end user’s location as part of the 3-day workshop.

This training provides an overview of the R&M system and its characteristics.

It demonstrates how to fully exploit the system’s potentials.

Accordingly, the end user will know how to patch and document conforming to Swiss cabling standards.

Not only does the workshop cover recommended cabling practices, but design practices and project management techniques as well.

A sound technical background alone is insufficient. The R&M certified planner takes on great responsibility for the entire project.

He will therefore have the knowledge of a planner in the background; in the foreground, he will be sales and customer service oriented this is the mark of a successful distributor.

“Our on the ground partners in the region have made great in roads in their respective markets on behalf of R&M and they continue to uphold R&M's solutions philosophy and value the advantages that a pro active sales approach brings”, said Andrew Sedman.

“As the cabling industry expands, due to the rapid growth of the market, more reliable installation consultants are required to keep up with the fast pace of technology and high standard of training”.
