OSIsoft Releases PI Coresight And PI Server 2010 R3

OSIsoft, LLC (www.osisoft.com), provider of the PI System and the leader in real-time data and events infrastructure solutions, today announced the release of PI Coresight and PI Server 2010 R3.
PI Coresight is a fast, secure and easy to use web-based product that can visualize and analyze PI System data from web-enabled devices. PI Coresight requires only a limited amount of training and expedites the process of building displays to provide users with more time to view and analyze data. PI Coresight was specifically designed for ad hoc analysis of PI System data and gives users complete flexibility when analyzing data by providing dynamic transitions between gauges, trends, data values, tables or bars.
"PI Coresight delivers on the need for a quick and easy way to analyze PI System data," said Tom LeBay, product manager for PI Coresight at OSIsoft. "PI Coresight is designed to take full advantage of the PI AF asset structure and OSIsoft believes that the integrated search, easy to use time bar, asset navigation and intuitive user interface are features that our customers will appreciate."
In conjunction with the release of PI Coresight, OSIsoft is also announcing the release of an enhanced version of the PI Server. This new release not only provides the most stable, reliable and secure version of the PI Server, but also provides users with a complete infrastructure for the asset centric PI System. PI AF performance enhancements are included in this release to provide PI System visualization tools with a faster search of the asset structure. Search enhancements in PI Server 2010 R3 allow customers using earlier versions of PI AF to more easily locate their data. This release of PI Server 2010 R3 is the first to include PI Event Frames. It also includes improved performance of PI Data Access products and a new release of PI SDK.
