Westcon Middle East Awarded AVAYA (MEA) Distributor Of The Year 2011

Westcon, a value-add distributor of category-leading unified communications, infrastructure, data center, and security solutions with a global network of specialty resellers, today announced the company has been awarded ‘Distributor of the Year 2011’ for the MEA region by Avaya. The award was presented by Nidal Abou-Itaif, Area Vice President, Emerging Markets to Asif Khan, Business Manager – AVAYA at Westcon along with Sayed Jawed, Divisional Manager Westcon Convergence and Steve Lockie, Group Managing Director, WestconME group and the Westcon team in front of more than 300 channel partners during Avaya's Partner Conference held last week at the Atlantis Hotel, Dubai, UAE.
