Injazat Data Systems, a leading Information Technology and Business Process Managed Services provider in the region, has announced that it is promoting the potential business and revenue contributions of information and communications technologies (ICT) during the 3rd Abu Dhabi Economic Forum (ADEF) running from March 2 to 3, 2009 at the Emirates Palace Hotel.
During the Forum, Injazat will present how partnering with IT service providers helps align ICT infrastructure and applications with organizational strategies, reduce costs, and streamline business processes. The company currently holds more than 50 per cent of the UAE’s outsourcing market and has built and operates the first certified Tier IV data centre in the Middle East, thus making it a major contributor to the attainment of the emirate’s growth plans as well as local efforts to boost the productivity of key industries.
“This Forum provides us with an excellent opportunity to share our experiences with the participating delegates and focus on key aspects that have enabled Injazat Data Systems to play a pivotal role in the sustained economic growth of the UAE, particularly Abu Dhabi. The event is also a platform to highlight the importance of developing the skills of the Emiratis and creating the right work environment that will help UAE nationals perform to their fullest potential. Moreover, through this Forum we are keen to explore new market opportunities that the current economic conditions are presenting,” said Ibrahim Mohamad Lari, CEO Injazat Data Systems.
ADEF has gathered over 700 participants featuring government, business and bank leaders, investors and experts from more than 20 countries to discuss major economic issues in seven working sessions. The event also provides a venue for participants to discuss and engage in major investment prospects in the UAE and the broader Gulf region, as well as boost the private sector’s role in maximizing Abu Dhabi’s business potential. The Forum is being organized by the Abu Dhabi Department of Planning and Economy and Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group with the support of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of initiatives under the Abu Dhabi Government’s Economic Vision, which aims to uplift the emirate as one of the top five enabling business environments in the world.
Injazat Data Systems is a joint venture between Mubadala Development Co. and EDS, an HP company with 46 years of global expertise in the IT managed services industry. The Injazat Institute, which focuses on helping organizations increase their business performance through strategic alignment and leadership and professional development services, has been instrumental in enhancing the competency and leadership abilities of UAE professionals. The Institute has also been successful in encouraging the inclusion of UAE Nationals in local industries. Injazat’s defense subsidiary, Injazat Defence Services, has been a major contributor to the growth of the UAE’s rapidly expanding defense sector.
