Software AG Wins European Business Award for International Growth Strategy

Software AG, a leading provider of Business Process Excellence (BPE) solutions, was confirmed as winner of the HSBC International Growth Strategy of the Year at the European Business Awards 2011 in Barcelona. In a hotly-contested category, the accolade reflected Software AG’s huge growth over the past 18 months following the launch of its cutting-edge BPE product portfolio. This saw group turnover increase by 32 per cent year on year, driven by a 34 per cent growth in the BPE business line, with the company returning over €1 billion revenue in 2010, one year ahead of plan.
The award recognized that the company’s shift in focus from product to process had led to significant growth.
