Jacky’s Electronics Hails Two Grand Champions For ‘My Kind Of Singing Superstar Competition’ 2012

The search was over for Jacky’s Electronics’ bid for the next ‘My Kind of Singing Superstar’ as two out of over 130 participants emerged as grand champions at the final match held at Jacky’s The Dubai Mall outlet.
Leo Galang and Karan Purohit were declared winners for the English and Hindi categories respectively. Both grand champions took home a Mediacom combo package of karaoke DVD player, two wireless microphones, home theatre speakers and a Panasonic 42-inch LCD TV.
Meanwhile, Eric John for and Zeeshan Sayal, first runners-up for English and Hindi categories respectively received a Mediacom budget package of karaoke DVD player, two wireless microphones and a Panasonic 32-inch LCD TV.
Twelve finalists, six each for English and Hindi categories, were chosen out of 26 during the semi-finals round held at Jacky’s Mirdif City Centre outlet. Each finalist received a Mediacom Soundbar as a consolation prize.
Other finalists were Zain Hussain, Vimal Purohit, Subhashree M and Jagdish Tahiliani for the Hindi category while Zack Allen, S. Erwin, Kirsten Heri and Ashley Klinger for the English category.
The My Kind of Singing Superstar-Karaoke Competition was sponsored by Mediacom and Panasonic. The prizes were given by Sidi Philips, General Manager-Sales & Marketing of Mediacom.
