CellMax Technologies Opens New Factory in Poland to Meet Demand for Ultra High-Efficiency Antennas

Published Mar 21, 2012

CellMax Technologies, a leading provider of advanced ultra-high efficiency base station antennas, has established a new production facility in central Poland to meet an increasing global demand for the company’s advanced and efficient antennas that help mobile operators improve data troughput.

The new factory is already operational in partnership with the Swedish company HSF Group and under the leadership of Kristian Jonsson, Sourcing & Production Director, CellMax Technologies. The factory is located in Falenica just outside the Polish capital of Warsaw.

The factory is a modern ISO certified state of the art production facility that will manufacture the entire range of CellMax high frequency, high efficiency antennas for export to CellMax customers all over the world. The new facility adds flexibility, traceability, quality and cost efficiency to CellMax manufacturing process. CellMax is one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden and Europe.

CellMax’s revolutionary antenna technology reduces the power losses within the antenna to close to zero, as opposed to traditional antennas that dissipate up to 55 per cent of the power/energy of the base station, reducing the base station’s transmission capacity significantly. With CellMax antennas, mobile operators can gain a higher signal strength and a dramatic increase in geographical area coverage, improved indoor penetration, increased traffic, improved data throughput and reduced production costs per call – all without any increase in power consumption.
