Xerox, the global leader in document management, technology and services is recognized as ‘Printing and Consumables Vendor of the Year’ at the Channel Middle East Awards, on Wednesday 28th March at the Westin Hotel, Dubai.
The Channel Middle East Awards, organized by Channel Middle East Magazine, a leading monthly publication for the IT channel community, recognize individuals and companies that have been influential in the Middle East's IT channel throughout the past year. Over 300 of the region’s leading channel executives and senior delegates from vendors, distributors, resellers and retailers attended the gala award ceremony.
The award honored Xerox’s commitment in supporting the channel and facilitating the success of its partners. Judges highlighted the strengths in Xerox’s focus on developing its channel network in the region for many years in order to ensure that it has strong partners in place who are able to cater to customers within the Middle East region.
Dan Smith, Head of Integrated Marketing for the Middle East and Africa region of Xerox’s Developing Markets Operations stated, ‘winning this award is important for Xerox, it displays commitment, and is proof we are investing in the region. We want to ensure our customers get the right service or solution every time – and working with channel partners who add value to their business is the best way to do this in the Middle East. I am proud of every single one of our partners in this region as their detail to customer demand is the main reason Xerox is winning this award.”
“What makes a successful channel player is knowing which offering the customer wants and needs and can best be serviced with – and then supplying it to them with a level of customer satisfaction that is unbeatable,” added Smith
Xerox has made considerable investments in the Middle East with channel partners increasing by 50% at the end of last year and expanding the channel further across the whole region. Xerox cemented its position as the worldwide leader in managed printing services (MPS) this year, as businesses around the word signed on to contain costs, drive productivity and meet environmental sustainability goals with a more efficient print infrastructure.
