Etisalat First In The UAE To Offer Customers HTC One X Smartphones

Etisalat announced that it will be first in the UAE to launch the new HTC One X smartphone for its customers. Offered on the nation’s widest 3.5G network, Etisalat’s HTC One X plans will offer multiple options to meet demands of both, Wasel prepaid as well as postpaid customers.

Commenting on the launch of the device ahead of its worldwide launch, Matthew Willsher, Chief Marketing Officer at Etisalat, said, “Etisalat has a solid reputation in bringing to its customers new and popular smartphone devices, ahead of their launch in the country or the region. Now, we’re adding to our list of firsts by offering the much-talked about HTC One X smartphone to our customers in the UAE.”

“Etisalat has the country’s widest HSPA+ network to meet our customers’ demand for seamless connectivity and access to their mobile apps and software, anywhere in the country”, he added.

Etisalat’s postpaid customers can subscribe to any the HTC One X voice and data plan options on a one-year contractual basis. These plans are value-packed with free minutes, SMS and data per month, suited to varying customers’ requirements. Customers have the opportunity to get the HTC One X for free, upon subscribing to ‘Plan 3’ (refer www.etisalat.ae/htc for more details). In addition, customers subscribing to HTC One X plans receive up to 4GB data; up to 800 local minutes or 200 international minutes of voice calls; and up to 200 SMS. Customers also enjoy the flexibility to choose as well as switch their preference between receiving free local or international talk time, bundled with their HTC One X plan.

Wasel prepaid customer purchasing the device can enjoy free data usage of 500 MB for the first three months. From the fourth month onward, the data will be available for as low as AED50.

Customers can subscribe to the new HTC One X plans and receive their devices from any of Etisalat’s Business Centers and Outlets across the UAE. HTC One X is the company’s first quad-core smartphone. It comes with 32GB storage and 1GB RAM, integrating Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the latest HTC Sense 4.
