Aastra Offers Free Software Upgrade For Ericsson MD110 Enterprise Customers In The Middle East And North Africa

Published Sep 8, 2009
Aastra, a leading provider of IP telephony and Unified Communications solutions, announced that it is offering a compelling offer to all Ericsson MD110 Enterprise customers in the Middle East and North Africa.

The offer consists of the following: Free software upgrade from release BC9 and upwards to MX-ONE TSW™ (BC13) for up to 1000 ports; additional discounts on expansion or add ons ordered together with the upgrade; and a range of new digital and IP terminals, as well as productivity enhancing applications and mobility solutions, which can be used with the upgraded system.

Especially in tough economic times like this, enterprises find themselves in the dilemma of seeking an efficient way to introduce cost saving and productivity enhancing solutions on one hand, whilst protecting their past investments on the other hand.

The offer, valid until October 31, 2009, provides enterprises a smooth and cost efficient migration opportunity.

It would allow them to introduce new technologies step by step securing the interworking with existing investments, whilst getting the full support from Aastra.

MX-ONE TSW ™ enables converged voice over internet protocol (VoIP) communications as well as fixed mobile convergence solutions like integrating the company’s cellular phone into the corporate telephony system.

“We take our responsibility of supporting the Ericsson Enterprise customers seriously. When Aastra acquired the Enterprise Business from Ericsson last year, we not only acquired all the enterprise products, the research and development, the intellectual property rights, the manufacturing and marketing, but also committed to protect the Ericsson enterprise customers’ investments . We are in a unique position to offer genuine spare parts and non disruptive software upgrades to MD110 customers for a smooth migration into the converged world of unified communications” says Dr. Roger Hage, Vice President Aastra Telecom Middle East.

According to Canalys, Aastra ranked No.3 in enterprise telephony and No. 1 in the sub-100 line segment in EMEA during 2008 .

“MD110 customers can rest assured that with Aastra they are getting a dedicated, responsive and caring partner, who can accompany them for years to come. We just announced our 45th consecutive positive financial quarter result” concludes Roger Hage.

Customers can contact any Aastra reseller in the Middle East or North Africa by visiting our web page for a quick quotation for upgrading and expanding their systems.
