Saudi IT spending set to reach 5.7bn Dollars by 2014

Published May 14, 2012

According to market research firm RNCOS, Saudi Arabia's information and communication technology (ICT) market has seen significant growth during the past few years, mainly due to the liberalisation of the ICT market, intense competition, and dynamic demographics of the kingdom. Overall IT spending in Saudi Arabia is set to reach $5.7bn by the end of 2014, up from around $3.5bn in 2010, at a compound annual growth rate of around 13%, the report said. The kingdom's per capita IT spending is expected to reach close to $200 by 2014, RNCOS said.
