OT Misses Out On Meditel Bid

Orascom Telecom Holding failed to acquire 64.4 percent stake in Meditel, the Moroccan mobile operator.
The winning consortium consisted of Moroccan insurance company RMA Watanya, Finance.Com and Fipar Holding.
The consortium offered €800 million.
According to press sources, OT offer value is 30 percent lower than the winning bid.
