Nikon Regionally Launches the COOLPIX Summer Series

Nikon has regionally launched their latest COOLPIX Summer series featuring 13 compact cameras that offer stylish designs in vibrant colors and are equipped with easy functionality, making the range ideal for any family adventure to create exceptional memories every day. The series offers a simple, convenient and fun way to capture great photos and HD movies with ease. The COOLPIX Summer Series is now available in stores across the region.
COOLPIX P-Series – P310 and P510
The COOLPIX P-series models of cameras, a line of multi-function, high-performance compact digital cameras with full-scale photographic capabilities, comprise of the COOLPIX P510 and P310. Featuring some of the brand’s most advanced technology, including built-in lens-shift vibration reduction (VR) function and an effective 16.1-million pixel count, these cameras are set to offer some of the best imaging solutions in the market.
The COOLPIX P510, a compact high-power zoom camera, features 42x optical zoom covering 24mm wide angle through 1000mm super telephoto, along with a built-in GPS and logging function to record location data and creates a log of the user’s route. The COOLPIX P310, a compact, wide-angle zoom camera, offers a fast maximum aperture f/1.8 lens that has proven so popular and further improved image quality through a 16.1-million pixel image sensor.
COOLPIX S-Series
The COOLPIX S-Series include 7 new models, namely the COOLPIX S9300, S9200, S6300, S4300, S2600 S3300 and S30, which will set a new benchmark for stylish functionality. Some of the key features include built-in GPS function, a high-power 18x optical zoom that utilizes thin optics and an effective 16.0-million pixel count for superior image quality.
COOLPIX S9300 and S9200
Nikon has created two new high-power zoom models with 18× optical zoom NIKKOR lenses which utilize thin optics, as well as greatly enhancing the technology offered by these cameras. These models come with new technology ranging from a backside illumination CMOS image sensor to a lens-shift vibration reduction (VR) system that helps capture beautiful photos in dim conditions; a new movie function allows users to save and play back movies, which includes the recording of multiple scenes that can be saved as a single file. What’s more, users can also choose COOLPIX S9300 which also offers a built-in GPS function.
COOLPIX S6300
An all-new camera in the popular high-power compact zoom model class, offering one of the most compact designs in its class despite the built-in 10× optical zoom NIKKOR lens, this camera offers unmatched functionality with an effective 16.0-million pixel count, as well as a lens-shift vibration reduction (VR) function that gives users the power of Nikon’s superior camera shake compensation precision. Along with its full-HD compatible movie function, COOLPIX S6300 offers the optimal balance between still image and movie recording functions.
COOLPIX S4300 and S3300
With a trim and stylish design suited to any user’s lifestyle or preferences, the new COOLPIX S4300 and S3300 are slimmer than their predecessors despite improved zoom function and built-in VR. Created to be timelessly stylish, users can choose from a variety of colors.
COOLPIX S2600
The COOLPIX S2600, an ultra-stylish and slim digital camera, offered in 7 vibrant colors: silver, black, pink, blue, red, purple, and black. Paired with a slender 19.5mm camera body, relatively smaller than most cameras with a 5x zoom function, the COOLPIX S2600 offers functional sophistication for all users.
Featuring Nikon’s powerful EXPEED C2 image processing engine, the COOLPIX S2600 consistently takes high quality images with minimal processing time. The engine makes the S2600 more powerful than similar products in the market. In fact, Nikon’s auto noise reduction function makes it comparable with high-end cameras in the market; this camera will record HD movies, even under windy conditions.
COOLPIX S30
A specially designed compact digital camera, COOLPIX S30 was created with family in mind. Featuring a simple symmetrical and familiar form, and equipped with a new operating system that anyone can quickly master, this camera has the potential to increase communication between family members. COOLPIX S30 offers specifications and functions that ensure fun and worry-free shooting for a wide variety of situations. Coolpix L-Series
The COOLPIX L-series cameras, allow users to capture beautiful photos with a simple press of a button. The compact L810 is small but powerful with its 26x high-power optical zoom lens, the L310 has a powerful 21x optical zoom, while the entry-level L26 and L25 offer a 5x optical zoom and automatic shooting functions that make taking dazzling pictures easy.

The compact L810 sports a CCD image sensor with an effective 16.1-million pixel count, a 26x optical zoom NIKKOR lens that covers an extensive range of focal lengths from wide-angle 22.5 mm to super telephoto 585 mm (equivalent in 35 mm [135] format), as well as a new lens-shift vibration reduction (VR) function. It uses a design suited to a firm, steady grip, as well as featuring a side zoom control. What’s more, the camera supports Eye-Fi cards, which means images can be transferred to a computer via a wireless network connection.
COOLPIX L310

In addition to the Easy auto shooting mode which delivers photos with superior image quality, users can make movies by simply pressing an independent movie-record button. What’s more, the cameras are powered by AA batteries that can be purchased anywhere.
