Extreme Networks Expands Regional Footprint In MEA Region

Extreme Networks Inc. announced today the addition of 10 partners to its regional base of channel partners.

AwalNet, the leading Internet Service Provider in Saudi Arabia, and Breakpoint Solutions, South African IT Infrastructure firm, are the latest in a series of partners to be able to combine the best in class network solutions with flawless project implementation owing to their agreement with Extreme Networks which enables partners to deliver their respective brands of technology service ranging from Datacenter Management to Convergence.

Awalnet dominates the internet market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and this partnership with Extreme Networks will allow the service provider to improve the quality of its internet services by upgrading the technical infrastructure and its after sales support in the Kingdom while leveraging Extreme Networks deep expertise for technical questions, software support, and logistics infrastructure.

Aziz Ala’ali, Regional Director for Extreme Networks, Middle East & Africa comments, “It is a great pleasure to announce our recent expansion in the region which adds Saudi Arabia to our regional operations. Widening our base of knowledgeable channel partners is a core objective for us at Extreme Networks. The selection, and subsequent certification, of these partners allows us to continue to deliver outstanding support and technical expertise in complete multi vendor convergence solutions”.

Extreme Networks’ channel base which now comprises of 36 partners also includes Al Alamiah Technology Group, Kuwait’s leading IT infrastructure firm, and Computer & Communications Systems Limited (CCS), Jordan based Systems Integrator and Turn Key solutions provider, and Amik Online SARL, Lebanese integrator and turn key solutions provider.

The extension of their agreements with Extreme Networks will allow these existing partners to remain the primary point of support for their end customers.

Moreover, Extreme Networks’ partner program offers powerful benefits to end users and enables partners to more easily and affordably choose the best combination of services.

Amik Online SARL has recently become a Platinum partner of Extreme Networks in the Middle East, which will enhance the company’s position to provide both enterprise and service provider customers with comprehensive communication and network solutions emphasizing performance, reliability and value.

Camille Edde, Managing Director at Amik Online SARL, commented by saying: “The ongoing enhancement of Extreme Networks’ channel program is of great assistance to us in a challenging economic climate as it will match our product knowledge and help us provide our customers with better solutions and support”.

These partnerships are a move by Extreme Networks to expand their business both in the EMEA region, as well as globally. In parallel, Extreme Networks Inc. continues to enhance its distribution capabilities in the region by expanding its partnership with distribution companies such as Westcon ME, Mayflex Limited, Optimus Computer Trading LLC and Almasa Distribution FZCO.
