Mobinil Lead The Market With 21.173 Million Common Vodafone 18.886 And 4,526 Itsalat

Events revealed indicators NTRA communications and access the mobile subscribers in Egypt by the end the first quarter of this year to about 44.6 million subscribers compared to 32.176 million in the same period of 2008 at a growth of 28%.
Indicators show that the Egyptian Company for Mobile Services Mobinil (EMOB) accounted for 21.173 million shared by up to 47.48% of mobile subscribers, and Vodafone Egypt to acquire 18.886 million common by 42.36% and Etisalat Egypt, 4.526 million common share to more than 10% of mobile subscribers compared to 8 % end of last year.
Statistics showed that Etisalat Egypt's efforts to increase its stake in the mobile market comes mainly at the expense of the rest of the rations down the cell phone companies in light of plans to increase its stake to 10 million subscribers by 2010, said Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sawy, a Communications Expert and Head Of Communications Technology to the Chamber that the arrival of growth in the number of mobile subscribers at more than 12 million subscribers during the year by one million subscribers a month, which reflects the boom witnessed by this sector, noting that the ruling on the saturation of the market will clear with the third quarter of this year.
