Emaar Misr Brings Cutting Edge Triple Play Technology to its Customers

In line with its vision of ushering in an unrivaled lifestyle, Emaar Misr is proud to announce kicking off the triple play services in its projects: Marassi, Uptown Cairo and soon in Mivida.

For the first time the Fiber Optic technology, supporting the triple play services, to be launched in Egypt offering residents 3 combined services (Broadband Internet, Telephone, and TV) on a single connection.

Provided by one of the licensed operators in the country, this state-of-the-art technology allows access to other advanced communication services including water and power control management.

The Triple play technology allows access to a bundle of advanced services including water and power real-time consumption monitoring which allows homeowners to turn off lights or cut water supply whenever or whatever needed. In addition, Video on Demand, a service that lets you select and watch video content at the time that is most convenient to you. It also gives you complete control over the video being watched, including the ability to pause, fast-forward, and rewind, creating a kind of remote control for your favorite TV shows, as they are being aired. Other TV-related services may include messaging, interactive viewing and gaming.

Emaar Misr utilizes the future-proof capabilities offered by the Fiber Optic technology in the area of environmental sustainability. The Fiber Optic network is connected to a remotely weather- forecast unit to provide temperature and humidity readings throughout the day, and thus regulates the quantity of irrigation water according to the plants’ needs, which ultimately results in the conservation of irrigation water and the sustainability of the landscaped surroundings at the same time. Furthermore, this advanced fiber network is connected to the state-owned public utilities including the ambulance and fire squad services in order to ensure the highest standards of 24/7 security for the residents.
