Published Sep 11, 2012

Dell SonicWALL Next-Generation Firewalls have earned high recognition from three of the industry’s most influential third-party evaluators, providing independent validation for IT administrators who seek the best performing security required for their modern corporate network and deployment scenarios.

In the NSS Labs 2012 Security Value Map™ (SVM) for Next-Generation Firewalls, the Dell SonicWALL SuperMassive E10800 was rated the highest overall protection Next-Generation Firewall recommended by NSS Labs. The E10800 was also the winner of Network World’s 2012 next-generation firewall Clear Choice Performance test, leading the way in application detection and decrypting SSL traffic at up to 4.9 Gbps. In July, ICSA Labs also tested the Dell SonicWALL E-Class Network Security Appliance Series and announced that these firewalls were the first appliances to meet all of the ICSA Labs Next-Generation Firewall Evaluation Requirements and receive the ICSA Labs Enterprise Firewall Certification. ICSA Labs evaluated the E-Class NSA Series and found it to be 100 percent effective for application identification and control, 100 percent effective against malware, 100 percent effective for user-based authentication, and no false positives.

Dell SonicWALL provides network security and data protection solutions that enable customers and partners worldwide to dynamically secure, control, and scale their global networks. Designed to meet the needs of large enterprise, government, university and multi-tenant / service providers, the Dell SonicWALL Next-Generation Firewalls deliver scalability, reliability, and deep security at multi-gigabit speeds.
