WEBIT 2012 Will Host Digital Industry Giants In İstanbul

The congress that is going to be held on 10 – 11 October at Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center, Istanbul, brings together the digital, telco, innovation pioneers, investors and entrepreneurs from around the world. Gathering top executives from prestigious companies such as Google, eBay, Unilever, BBC, IBM, Intel, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Facebook and Yahoo!, Webit 2012 will host 6.000 delegates from about 60 countries.

The most innovative companies in the world, including Google, Facebook, Adobe, Intel, Mozilla, Yandex, PayPal, IBM, Opera, Qualcomm, and Digital Ecosystems will meet entrepreneurs from around the world and Turkey at Webit 2012. Diego Oliva, Regional Director at Facebook for Europe, Middle East and Africa, will present a comprehensive view on the Future of Social Media, which will be especially helpful for those who plan to develop social media projects.

During the first day of the congress, while Laurent Le Moal, GM CEMEA at PayPal focuses on mobile payments by highlighting the Future of Monetization Instrument and Innovative ways of Payment Solutions, Andrey Sebrant, Director of Product Marketing at Yandex will point out How Big and Small Data is Transforming Marketing into Quantitative Experimental Science event. Ben Barokas, GM Marketplace at Google, will present a different perspective through his topic of How Buying and Selling Online Advertising is Changing Online Media. Including, but not limited to those, Webit will also host the lecture of Henri Moissinac, Head of Mobile EMEA at Facebook, which covers the Power of Mobile.

The congress, where industry leaders and professionals come together to take their businesses one step further through new business leads, collaborations and connections, also offers great networking opportunities for attendees. The well – known brands of research and consulting companies such as Forrester, Boston Consulting Group, Arthur D Little, world leaders in communications such as Edelman, OMD, G2, DDB Tribal, Lbi and Huge are among the global leaders that will leave their mark at Webit 2012. Top brand representatives from Ferrero, Nokia, Renault and headline reporters from TechCrunch, The Next Web, Wall Street Journal are also part of the Congress agenda. Webit will also host Telecom CEOs from Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), Mobinil (Africa), Deutsche Telekom AG, Orange, Azerfone and many more. Among the digital media representatives, the view of Al Jazeera about mobile and media through a Global News Perspective will be shared by Safdar Mustafa, Head of Mobile Media at Al Jazeera Network.
