Dubai eGovernment Launches 20 Satisfaction Surveys For Employees & Public To Measure Government Performance

As part of its efforts to enhance government performance based on its ‘customer first’ concept, Dubai eGovernment Department has launched a series of opinion polls for both the general public and for government employees to measure customer satisfaction.
Dubai eGovernment uses the analysis, feedback and suggestions from such surveys for the continuous enhancement of government performance; and to create an open channel between Dubai Government, its employees and the general public. Commenting on the launch of these surveys, H.E. Ahmed Bin Humaidan, Director General of Dubai eGovernment, said: “Conducting regular surveys is a fundamental aspect of our quality and administrative excellence in line with the requirements of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme. Such measures will help us to streamline communication and cooperation with our partners. We also seek to continuously integrate eServices with government entities and together support eTransformation in the emirate by provide world class services and infrastructure that is customized for our customer’s needs.”
He added: “We have been partnering and integrating the services of all Dubai government entities to fulfill the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to cement Dubai’s leading position in the knowledge-based economy. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that our slogan ‘Together to ease your life’ is a reality for all citizens, residents, businesses and visitors.”
Already 8 out of the planned 20 surveys have already been launched. For government employee surveys, Dubai eGovernment directly sends the survey to the registered email address of the concerned government employee. Customers of the ePay service will get their surveys directly from the email with which they have registered.
Bin Humaidan affirmed that the results of these surveys would contribute to improving government performance. He called on all government employees and customers to take part in these surveys to ensure greater accuracy and as a bonus, randomly chosen participants would be awarded prizes. These include iPhones, iPads and other valuable prizes that would be awarded during the forthcoming GITEX Week between October 14 and 18 at Dubai eGovernment’s stand in Sheikh Saeed Hall 3, Dubai World Trade Centre.
