RIM to Launch Touch Screen BlackBerry 10 in Q1 2013

Thorsten Heins, the chief executive of Research in Motion has said the handheld device maker will first release a new touch-screen version when its new BlackBerry 10 device goes on sale in the first quarter of 2013. RIM's focus on the touch screen will help attract customers who use personal devices at work, Heins said. While acknowledging that the company has lost market share in the US, Heins said RIM is seeing traction in the Middle East and South Africa.
