Wave-Tech To Demonstrate Solutions That Support The Middle East’s Rapid Growth In Wireless Communication At ITU World 2012

Published Oct 2, 2012

South Korean radio frequency communications vendor Wave-Tech is set to unveil a portfolio of solutions designed to support the rapid expansion of wireless communication.
The company will be demonstrating a range of products for LTE, WiMax, CDMA, and GSM networks. Wave-Tech will also be displaying radar systems, wireless solutions and a host of custom designs developed for regional operators.

“There’s been explosive growth in wireless data services in emerging markets such as the Middle East,” said Mr. Lee, President, Wave-Tech. “This demand for data services is being driven by smart phone and tablet penetration. As operators and vendors offer more smart phone-based applications we’re going to see a remarkable growth in the amount of data consumed per subscriber. The Arab Spring was a remarkable demonstration of how data services are now central to mobile phone users in the Middle East.”

Based in South Korea and founded in 1999, Wave-Tech designs, manufactures and delivers state-of-the-art, innovative RF signal processing components and subsystems covering the frequency range of 100KHz to 40GHz.

Wave-Tech’s products include Power Dividers, Couplers, Sub-Systems, Multiplexers, Filter Based Assemblies and High Selectivity Splitters / Combiners in LTE, GSM, CDMA, DCS and PCS bands, Radar Systems, Cellular and PCS Base Stations, Earth Stations and Wireless Communications and offers both custom and off-the-shelf designs.

“Wave-Tech invests significantly in both research and manufacturing. We provide both standard communications products as well as bespoke solutions that are tailored to the needs of our customers. We can add value to any telecommunications provider that is looking to rapidly expand the capacity of its network, both outdoor and indoor,” added Lee.

Wave-Tech will be on the Korea Association of Information and Telecommunication stand during ITU World 2012. Executives from the company will be at the five-day ITU World event at the Dubai World Trade Center from the 14 to 18 October to meet with potential partners and telecommunications providers.
