Announcing its participation at GITEX Technology Week 2012, Sophos is set to focus on its vision of delivering ‘Complete security without complexity’. This includes endpoint security, web, email, mobile, encryption and network security. With BYOD, remote/mobile working and wireless security being key issues for many Middle East companies, Sophos will showcase its mobile security and mobile device management solutions, as well as its new unified threat management solution, UTM 9–,the first UTM specifically designed to integrate gateway security and endpoint security in a single hardware or virtual box.
The Middle East has seen a dramatic increase in malware attacks recently. The ever-changing nature of today’s attacks means businesses need a reliable defense that protects all routes of attack. Sophos protects businesses of all sizes within the region, helping to identify the gaps in their defenses and providing them with flexible solutions to plug these gaps.
“IT security is becoming more and more complex—with new challenges like BYOD, cloud storage, a growing number of security products to manage and new apps to monitor, evermore devious malware and skilled hackers. Unfortunately, IT teams and IT security budgets are not growing at the same rate. With a lot of data and information flowing across networks to more sophisticated attacks and tightening budgets, protection needs to be broad, affordable, simple and quick for IT to implement.” said, André Scheffknecht, Vice President NEEMEA for Sophos. “Our Complete Security solutions address the needs of today’s IT manager and we’re looking forward to bringing them to the attendees of GITEX Technology Week.
“We have steadily built our channel resources and customer base in the region. GITEX provides us with a strong platform to network with partners and users discuss regional trends and requirements,” Scheffknecht added.
Sophos will be located at Hall 1 E1 - 40
