Two Largest Companies in the Middle East Rely on Blue Coat Web Security and WAN Optimization Solutions

Blue Coat Systems, Inc., a market leader in Web security and WAN optimization, today announced that the two largest companies in the Middle East (one in Saudi Arabia and the other in UAE) have deployed Blue Coat solutions to optimize and secure their networks. In Europe and the Middle East (EMEA), 97 percent of the FORTUNE Global 500 companies based in the region have deployed Blue Coat Web security and WAN optimization solutions, including 69 of the 70 largest companies. Worldwide, 86 percent of FORTUNE Global 500 companies are Blue Coat customers.
Blue Coat counts among its customer base 86 percent of FORTUNE Global 500 companies that are based in the Americas, including the 30 largest companies in the region. In Asia Pacific, 75 percent of the largest companies in the region are also Blue Coat customers, including 23 of the 25 largest companies.
