Sourcefire to Highlight Agile Security at GITEX Technology Week 2012

Sourcefire, Inc., a leader in intelligent cybersecurity solutions, has announced its participation at GITEX Technology Week 2012. The company will showcase the merits of its Agile Security® vision, including its Next-Generation Intrusion Prevention Systems (NGIPS) with Application Control, Sourcefire Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) and FireAMP Advanced Malware Protection.

The Middle East, among other regions, has been experiencing targeted, sophisticated attacks as adoption of internet and e-commerce has increased. Sourcefire’s strong product portfolio offers customers in the region and worldwide a context-aware approach to security that delivers comprehensive protection that constantly adapts to new threats, vulnerabilities, and everyday network changes.

Some of the key products that will be showcased at GITEX Technology Week 2012 include:

Available with or without integrated application control.
• Sourcefire Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW): The world’s most powerful NGIPS, integrated application control and firewall functionality in a universal, high-performance security appliance.
• FireAMP: An intelligent, enterprise-class advanced malware analysis and protection solution that uses big data to discover, understand and block advanced malware outbreaks. FireAMP Mobile protects against mobile malware.

Sourcefire will be exhibiting with FVC in Z- G10 and with Secureway in Hall 2, B2-20 where Sourcefire technology. Specialists from the company will be available at the event to meet with customers and partners.
