EC-Council Announces Flagship Hacking Conference, Hacker Halted, to be Held in Miami, FL October 2012

EC-Council’s flagship information security (IS) conference, Hacker Halted USA 2012 will be held in Miami, FL from October 25-31st. Hacker Halted will unite some of the greatest minds in information security, as industry experts address the latest threats and vulnerabilities plaguing the virtual world. Hacker Halted will also feature several highly technical and advanced workshops that cover the most current security topics and will include EC-Council’s most sought after certification classes. This year’s Hacker Halted is expected to surpass expectations and be greater than ever as it will host the Global CyberLympics, the World’s First International Team Ethical Hacking Championships, and the Global CISO Forum, an international event open only to senior information security executives.

For the first time ever, Hacker Halted will include the Global CyberLympics, the World’s First International Team Ethical Hacking Competition. Global CyberLympics is dedicated to raising awareness towards increased education and ethics in information security. Hacker Halted will host the world championships through a series of cyber competitions that encompass forensics, ethical hacking, and defense.
