Published Oct 21, 2012

BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of digital lifestyle innovations and global DLP® education projector leader, reinforces its range of projectors in the UAE with the latest video and Full HD projectors designed for professional cinematic projection in home entertainment.

Designed to provide professional-grade visual performance to viewers, the W7000+ offers 2000 ANSI lumens of maximum brightness, and a vertical and horizontal lens shift. As the first projector in the world to be accredited with the TUV Rheinland 3D Full HD Certification, W7000+ is powered by DLP Link™ to deliver ultra-smooth 1080p Full HD images to both eyes.

The W7000+ is also compatible with the latest HDMI standard allowing to directly play 3D movies from a Blu-ray DVD player, live sports via cable or satellite and 3D video games on PlayStation 3 without additional setup. It is also packed with BrilliantColor™, Texas Instrument’s DynamicBlack™, and Philip’s VIDI™ lamp technology to deliver a 50000:1 high contrast ratio, and 2000AL to render high quality images.

“As a leader in the projector industry and through years of extensive research and development, BenQ has been able to provide top-of-the-line imaging technologies that combine superior performance in virtual reality. These range of video projectors will cater to the growing requirements of users and provide them with stunning visual effects and quality home entertainment viewing experience,” said Manish Bakshi, Managing Director, BenQ Middle East and Africa.

“The W7000+ along with the rest of video projectors feature BenQ’s very own Full HD optimised optical system to ensure the best clarity and sharpness in every Full HD image. With the projection lens comprised with only glass-made lens elements, the optical system outperforms others with far more image details and better brightness performance,” he added.

The W7000+ is built with Rec.709 color gamut, one of the highest high-definition video standards in professional home projectors. It can also be adjusted in three pre-set and user modes to fit in 2D or 3D viewing as well as the Panamorph™ lenses to show 2.35:1 aspect format video in original widescreen format at maximum resolution with no image distortion or letterboxing.

Further to W7000+, BenQ W1100 home theatre projector feature SRS WOW HD Surround Sound technology, 3D Color Management technology, dual HDMI ports and a zoom ratio of 1.5:1. It also displays 2000 ANSI lumens.

Meanwhile, BenQ W710ST projector’s unique lens design can deliver 63-inch of cinema quality projection at just one metre allowing users to view any movies or enjoy any motion-control game even in small spaces. It also has a built-in 10W big speaker and can transform any audio-visual entertainment with industry-leading 3D technologies, DLP Link™ and NVIDIA 3D® Vision™.
