Discreet and easy to install the MSA970 is the optimal solution for a modern FTTH installation. The MSA970 separates the point of fiber termination in the home from the service enabling home gateway. It has a passive part to be installed during fiber termination and an active part that as an option also can be installed by the end-users themselves in a later stage.
“We have worked intensely with the design and usability when we developed the MSA970, and I will say it shows. One key challenge for the R&D team was to give operators the means for speedy fiber installation and at the same time give end-users a home décor designed product. The MSA970 provides all this. The MSA970 reinforces our Flexible Premises Solution and gives operators a solid business case. We presented the MSA970 at BBWF in Amsterdam a couple of days ago, and received very positive reactions from the people visiting our stand.” says Eric Hjelmestam VP Solution Management & Marketing at Tilgin.
The total solution with separation of optical termination and the Home Gateway also gives optimal Wi-Fi performance. This is made possible since end users can place the Wi-Fi enabled home gateway in a location in the premises they see fit, with optimal wireless coverage and a minimum of cabling.
This compact fiber termination handles winding and splicing of multiple fiber strands in an intelligent manner. The device has an easy-click system that makes it easy also for end-user to handle the MSA970 active installation themself. MSA970 comes with an option for analog TV, RF- overlay.
