Tilgin Releases a New Gigabit Home Gateway with DECT

Tilgin, a leading provider of solutions for multiplay and next-generation broadband access, expands its portfolio of full gigabit Ethernet gateways.

Today Tilgin introduces an additional member in the HG2300 product family that has a built in new generation DECT base station. It also further improves the Wi-Fi solution with three antennas and expanded internal memory for future services and features.

The new generation DECT solution can handle six connected handsets in addition to Tilgin’s VoIP solution with both a SIP proxy and analog interfaces. This gives the possibility to provide individual phone numbers for each member of the household or a small business. The solution offers all voice and DECT services you possibly could expect. In addition the product offers high definition voice which takes the voice experience to a completely new level.

The new generation DECT solution offered in the product is CAT-iq 2.0 ready and prepared for the coming standards CAT-iq 3.0, CAT-iq 4.0 and ULE with coming software upgrades. This guarantees a paved way to the smart home with home monitoring and self-surveillance.

The new platform is designed in accordance with Tilgin's program for lowest environmental impact over a system's lifecycle. It supports today's' demanding requirements such as EUP and CoC.
