Samsung Galaxy SIII Sales Hit 30 Million in 5 Months

The bestselling handset, which went on sale in May, broke the record the manufacturer set with the Galaxy S II, which sold 20 million devices in the same period after it was released in 2011.

The manufacturer revealed that on average one Galaxy S III was sold every 0.45 seconds. It hit the 10 million sales mark after 50 days and had sold 20 million units 100 days after launch.
