Kingston Technology To Regionally Debut World's First High Capacity Flash USB's At Gitex Technology Week 2009

Kingston Technology, the independent world leader in memory products will showcase for the first time in the Middle East, the world's first 256GB USB flash drive, at Gitex Technology Week 2009.

The DT300, which is exclusively made to order, is the highest capacity available for a USB in the market, and positions Kingston Technology as a leader in this high capacity USB arena.

Kingston Technology will be present with their partners Mindware and Logicom.

Kingston Technology will also showcase its HyperX memory range comprising memory modules for notebooks, desktop PC's and flash in addition to its other high capacity USB's such as the 128GB and 64GB flash drives.

"The demand for memory products has increased with both businesses and consumers creating tremendous volumes of data requiring memory based storage on mobile devices. This has led Kingston Technology to develop the world's first high capacity USB flash drive to address the challenges of storing data on the move. Owing to the large number of visitors, Gitex Technology Week presents us with the perfect opportunity to introduce the 256GB USB flash drive to the region,"said Antoine Harb, Business Development Manager for Kingston Technology.

"Kingston Technology has been experiencing unprecedented growth in the Middle East and Africa across all of our product lines in the past year, and we would like to utilize our presence with our partners to particularly promote our mid range products for professionals and end customers. Our focus will also be the secure USB range that includes the DataTraveler series that provide the highest level of security available in the market today," added Harb.

Kingston Technology will also promote its latest SSDNow series of solid state drives, including the recently launched SSDNow V+ Series that is available in a wide range of capacities, and has higher and faster performance specifications to meet demands of performance seeking users.

Kingston are located at Mindware located in hall 4, stand D4-11, and Logicom located in hall 3, stand B3-1.
