Report: Telecom Egypt On The Verge Of Reaching An Agreement On The Fees Mobile

World newspaper reported today that Telecom Egypt's monopoly fixed telephone lines in Egypt is about to reach an agreement to resolve the crisis of the Convention on the thread that broke out two years ago between Telecom Egypt and two mobile phone companies Vodafone and Mobinil.

Was quoted on Monday as Tarek Tantawy new CEO of Telecom Egypt as saying, "settled the new agreement on the pricing of mobile ground minute mobile phone seven pennies per minute and at 11.5 penny per minute from mobile ground".

He added that "the application of the new agreement will be within weeks".

There was no comment from officials of Telecom Egypt.

Analysts said that in the context of mobile telephone companies seeking to raise fees for calls from land phone to mobile phone companies filed suit against the fees set by the thread that the regulator of telecommunications in Egypt last year .
