Silicon Oasis TechForum Networking Event to Place Spotlight on Mobile Computing

Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) in collaboration with Optimus Technology and Telecommunications today announced the fourth Silicon Oasis TechForum networking event will place the spotlight on mobile communications and demonstrate best ways for IT companies to smartly monetize latest innovations and developments.

The event is scheduled to be held on 20 November at the DSO-based Rochester Institute of Technology in Dubai. As part of the agenda, Ahmed Adel, Developer and Platform Evangelism (DPE) Sales and Operations Director, Microsoft Middle East and Africa, will offer a segment on ‘Windows Phone – the platform that puts people first’, while Lovrenc Kessler, Managing Director of Simon-Kucher and Partners FZ-LLC, will share perspectives on ‘Innovative monetization strategies and revenue models in the IT business’.

The Silicon Oasis TechForum, which features monthly community gatherings, hosts industry specialists to offer easy-to-understand presentations on topical industry issues to educate and stimulate discussion. The forum also serves as a community that empowers visionary leadership, highlights best practices, and offers case studies to help identify best solutions for challenging problems.

The Silicon Oasis TechForum works closely with leaders in the tech-space, academia as well as technology and business communities such as incubators to host joint activities. It is particularly regarded as an enabling platform for industry professionals, academics and students to network.
