Fujitsu has confirmed as Platinum Sponsor of ‘Autodesk University (AU) Extension Dubai 2012’, the Middle East’s largest CAD event, which will be held on December 6, 2012 at the Sheikh Maktoum Hall of the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event, which will be hosted by Omnix International, the authorized distributor for Autodesk products in the Middle East, will bring together other top vendors who will showcase the latest state-of-the-art technologies to more than 500 design professionals who use CAD solutions across engineering, construction, architecture, animation, manufacturing and infrastructure industries.

Omnix International is bringing this premier international learning and networking event for highly-motivated Autodesk product users and managers from all industries in the Middle East. During the event, designers will be able to see the latest Autodesk products; learn productivity tricks and tools that are being utilized by their counterparts in the West; listen to engaging talks and presentations made by technology leaders that include Lynn Allen, Autodesk Evangelist; Roland Klement, Technical Sales Engineer-Civil; Neil Brooker, EMEA AEC/ENI Technical Specialists Manager; Ishwar Nagwani, Senior Analyst, Autodesk India; and Ralph Pullinger, Structural Technical Specialist.

“For design professionals and engineers, finding the right configuration of hardware and software to cope with their computing needs can be time consuming and risky, and Fujitsu’s Platinum sponsorship of ‘Autodesk University Extension Dubai 2012’ is designed to extend access in the MENA region to new skills,” said Farid Al-Sabbagh, Managing Director Middle East; Fujitsu Technology Solutions. “Autodesk-optimized Fujitsu CELSIUS workstations guarantee the highest levels of performance and efficiency, even when running the most demanding computing tasks, such as creating graphics-intensive 3D entertainment or running virtual product tests.”

“We are very confident that ‘Autodesk University Extension Dubai 2012’ will give design professionals the opportunity to not only sharpen their design skills, but also learn more, with several hands-on demos, and more technology to see and experience. Participants will not only improve their skills and enhance productivity but also have an opportunity to have a look at the latest offerings from top vendors,” concluded Sajan Sadiq, Marketing Manager, Omnix International.

‘AU Extension Dubai 2012’ is part of the Autodesk University program, an annual series of Autodesk in-person and virtual user conferences that also includes the flagship Autodesk University event in Las Vegas.
