Published Nov 29, 2012

Smartphone aficionados are rushing to Axiom Telecom stores across the UAE to pick up the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini.

Axiom Telecom is one of the first retailers in the Middle East region to sell the South Korean manufacturer’s latest smartphone hit.

Retailing for AED 1,399 and available in marble white and pebble blue colours, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with an 800×480 resolution, a 1GHZ dual-core chip, 1GB of RAM, a 5 megapixel primary camera and a front-facing VGA camera. It also comes with an NFC chip, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 1500 mAh battery.

The phone measures 121.55 x 63 x 9.85 mm and weighs a mere 111.5 g. It comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed with Samsung TouchWiz UI. Other notable features of Galaxy S3 Mini are S Voice, Direct Call, Smart Stay, S Beam and Google Mobile Services.

Earlier this year, Axiom Telecom made waves by becoming one of the first retailers in the world to sell the Samsung Galaxy 3.

“Samsung’s S3 Mini is another fine example of the inherent innovation and flexibility in today’s smartphone landscape,” said Faisal Al Bannai, CEO, Axiom Telecom.

“These are exciting times for consumers, who are now being offered an unprecedented level of choice for devices that serve as digital hubs and that are fully attuned to daily needs.”

With 2,000 employees, Axiom Telecom is the Middle East’s largest mobile retailer, currently boasting a portfolio of 575 retail points and reaches over 3,742 points of sale across the region.

In addition to a growing reputation for its rapid launches, Axiom Telecom stands out for a host of customer service innovations such as a 60-second data transfer, 1 hour express repair, a pick-up and delivery service for repairs, stand-by phones during the repair period, and a 2-year warranty on select brands.
