“Over the last year, Nexans India has expanded its footprint and market reach by signing on new partners across the country. Apart from offering our customers the best quality cables, we also want to ensure that our channel partners are capable of offering the best service and installation support. Through our CSP training programs, we enable our channel partners with the knowledge, skills and certifications required for deploying large and complex projects. In 2012, we successfully organized two CSP training programs in Mumbai and Bangalore and received excellent feedback from our partners. Hence, we decided to hold two more workshops for our partners from the North and West of India,” said Mr. Chintak Dalal, Country Manager, Nexans Cabling Solutions.

The CSP training is divided into different modules that address different topics aimed at Installers, Project Managers, Designers, Consultants and Architects and End Users to name a few, who are involved in cabling and would like to improve their knowledge and skills in this domain.

The topics that are covered include standardization and design rules for Local Area Networks, testing copper and fiber structured cabling systems, hands on training, LANmark copper and fibre systems product range, installation rules and guidelines, installation practice & testing CAT 6A/Class EA links and optical fiber systems, LANmark-7A GG45, Nexans toolkit.

“Our CSP workshops are very intensive, where global technology experts from Nexans educate participants on Nexans’ full product range and its features, installation rules and guidelines, installation practice and testing and post implementation support. Partners who complete this program are well equipped to handle large complex projects with ease. We are happy with the response we received at both the events and would like to thank Mr. Alain Geypens, who flew down from Belgium to conduct this workshop and our local teams for their efforts in putting this event together,” Mr. Dalal added.

Mr. Alain Geypens, Training Manager from Nexans Belgium conducted the training program by sharing his global experiences, cases studies and holding demonstrations for partners attending the program. Participants who successfully completed this training program were issued certificates.
