Published Feb 6, 2013

This week Cyber Gear has completed 17 years in the internet business.

According to Cyber Gear’s CEO, Sharad Agarwal, “In many ways we are as old as the Internet. In February 1996, just 1 month after Etisalat started providing internet connectivity in the UAE, we set-up Cyber Gear to provide web development and internet marketing services to enable local organisations, ‘Go Global’. In the last 17 years, we have serviced over 300 leading multinational, government and local organisations. Today our services include design of portal sites, intranets, e-CRM, e-business, CMS, e-commerce applications, e-marketing and internet strategy formulation.”

Cyber Gear's new accounts include, Applebees Middle East, Olive Group, Al Zahra Hospital, Mediclinic Middle East, Total Middle East, International Centre for Culinary Arts, ayaadi Etisalat and several Dubai and Abu Dhabi government entities.

During the last few years, Cyber Gear has developed several web based proprietary applications in the following areas:

. Newsletter design, distribution and tracking application
. Online media monitoring
. F&B restaurant reservation system
. XML based news delivery application
. CG Content Management System
. Banner Advertising Software
. iPhone and iPad Apps
. Social Media Apps

Commenting on the future prospects for Cyber Gear, Sharad Agarwal stated, "The internet has evolved so fast that any business that dares to blink - is left behind. We are therefore constantly evolving and provide our customers the cutting edge web 3.0 technologies so they can benefit from the power and reach of the web".
