BlackBerry Says Z10 Sales Gaining Traction

Published Mar 11, 2013

BlackBerry's chief executive Thorsten Heins has said the company is very encouraged by the traction that the new Z10 smartphone is gaining. The company's Z10, the first in a line of smartphones powered by the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, is on sale in the UK, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, India, the UAE and South Africa, among other countries, with plans set for more launches in other markets. "The feedback is very encouraging," said Heins. "What has been a real surprise for us is that BlackBerry 10 as a platform and product is attracting users that are currently on other platforms."
