Samsung Sneak Preview Gets Galaxy S4 Trending in UAE

The hotly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone is due for release April 27, but a small number of Dubai residents were invited to sample the device yesterday evening, ahead of the launch. Scores of social media super-users were invited, largely via Twitter, to get their hands on the latest Galaxy phone at the Dubai Marina Yacht Club. Invitees were encouraged to vote on their preferred new feature of the S4, which includes retina controls for text scrolling, dual camera functionality and an in-built health monitoring app. Throughout the evening guests were invited to tweet about the phone using the hashtag #GalaxyS4Dubai, which reached the Trends section on the UAE Twitter portal.
