Cisco Reports DoS Vulnerabilities in ASA Software

Published Apr 15, 2013

Cisco Systems, Inc. has said its Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) software has four vulnerabilities in which can all allow possible denial-of-service attacks. The ASA 1000V Cloud Firewall, the ASA software on Cisco ASA 5500 appliances, and the ASA services modules for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 series switches and 7600 series routers are all affected by one or more of the vulnerabilities, the company said. The San Jose-headquartered firm said it is not aware of any exploits in the wild for these problems, which were discovered while resolving customer support cases.
