Qatar's GSSG forms JV with Sirti

Qatari conglomerate Ghanim Bin Saad Al Saad & Sons Group (GSSG) has entered into an agreement with Italy's network engineering firm Sirti to set up a new joint venture that will pursue project opportunities in the Middle East region. The Sirti Mena for Projects will focus its activities on the development of infrastructure for telecoms networks, power transmission systems, security systems, integrated systems for transportation businesses, system integration in ICT businesses and smart cities solutions. GSSG will hold a 51% stake in the joint venture company, while Sirti will hold the remaining stake.
