ASJC to Provide Security Systems at KAIA Project

Al Salem Johnson Controls (ASJC), a global leader in delivering solutions that increase energy efficiency in buildings, has been selected to provide integrated security systems including security access control systems and video surveillance systems for Jeddah's new KAIA ( King Abdulaziz International Airport ) Development Project - Phase 1 at a contract-signing event with ICAD (Innovative Contractors for Advanced Dimensions) during the Airports Security International Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah recently.

Following the signing ceremony, Eng. Basil Abdulaziz, vice president and general manager of KSA and Lebanon offices for Al Salem Johnson Controls , said: "The airport expansion will one day serve more than 30 million passengers a year and our systems will help to keep them safe."
The company is the subcontractor responsible for delivering systems, including the design, installation, testing and commissioning, integration, hand-over, warranty and maintenance.
ASJC building security services and other safety solutions can help companies achieve safe environments that protect people and secure assets. ASJC designs and implements advanced security systems to simplify and improve operations and to make protection more cost effective.
Mohammed Saleh Bin Laden, vice president of ICAD, said: " KAIA is destined to become one of the most modern airports in the world and when the development project is completed it will be enhanced with state-of-the-art facilities including the most technologically advanced security systems."
Johnson Controls was also represented during the signing by Magdy Mekky, vice president and managing director Middle East, Dr. Mohannad Al Shaikh, director of operations and administrations and William Thomas, project director.

"Saudi Arabia represents a vital market and investment focus for Johnson Controls and we have ensured that our globally renowned expertise is available locally through ASJC."
Established in 1991 as a joint venture between Al Salem group of companies and Johnson Controls International, ASJC is positioned as a pioneer in providing its customers with integrated solutions that incorporate HVAC equipment, fire and security systems, building management systems and controls that increase energy efficiency in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
The ICAD team is a group of engineers, technicians, specialist installers and project managers. ICAD's core expertise is to understand complex electronic and mechanical systems and implement these systems successfully as part of large construction projects.
