SAP Signs Agreement with Mobily

Published Jun 24, 2013

SAP signed an agreement with Mobily to collaborate on the delivery of world-class cloud-based business solutions across Saudi Arabia.

The agreement establishes a framework for Mobily to introduce a host of cutting-edge SAP innovations to its end-users.

Key offerings will include SAP BusinessOne in the Cloud (integrated enterprise resource planning for small and medium-sized businesses), SAP HANA in the Cloud (a ground-breaking in-memory computing platform), SAP Managed Mobility as a Service (cloud-based mobility management solutions for the enterprise), SAP Business Application in the Cloud (migration packages to the Mobily Cloud) and Analytics and Database as service (rapidly deployable, easy to integrate business analytical solutions).

The agreement was announced at the Saudi Arabian leg of SAP's annual Forum and SUGMENA Conference.

Khalid Al Kaf, CEO, Mobily, said, "Our customers are calling out for new ways of doing business, and SAP is ideally placed to help them reach new heights. Like Mobily, every aspect of SAP is rooted in innovation and a desire to put the customer first. Our overriding aim is to help Saudi businesses become more efficient and competitive, and I am confident we have all the elements in place to make that a widespread reality."

Ahmed Al-Faifi, Managing Director, SAP Saudi Arabia, said, "There is a big market in Saudi Arabia for SAP and Mobily's collaborative offering. Our comprehensive cloud portfolio appeals because it is all about engaging with the priorities that matter, at a pace and scale that makes sense for each individual business. Non-disruptive, people-centric and explicitly designed to optimise both process and profit, we can help Saudi businesses gain significant competitive advantage across their entire value chains. This is a powerful, influential meeting of minds and, together, we will tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing businesses today."
